Dr Sreedhevi Iyer

Sreedhevi Iyer was shortlisted for the Penang Monthly Book Award in 2017 for the Southeast Asian edition of 'Jungle Without Water'. She has also been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her literary work has appeared in The Writer's Chronicles, Hotel Amerika, Drunken Boat, Asian American Literary Review, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Ginosko Literary Journal, Free Word Centre, Two Thirds North, Asia Literary Review, and many more. She has also served as guest editor of Cha and a Hong Kong Special Folio for Drunken Boat. Her book Jungle Without Water has currently released in Australia and New Zealand. She did her MFA and PhD at City University Hong Kong, and currently lives in Melbourne.
